Mark is Imperial Ridge’s transaction expert and wannabe outdoor guide. He has spent decades navigating the Colorado wilderness and commercial real estate transactions alike, and his philosophy is simple: Choose your adventure partner wisely, stay the course, and make sure to celebrate when you arrive. Then, waste no time planning the next adventure.

Mark has been immersed in real estate since his first year of college when he purchased is first rental property. Since then, Mark has founded commercial real estate development firm The Willits Group, co-founded SPUR Acquisitions and helped launch Clean Energy Collective. He is a distinguished alumnus from Colorado State University, where he holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He also earned his master’s degree in Real Estate Finance and Development from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

A true outdoorsman, when he’s not putting deals together, Mark is happiest on the bank of a river with a fly rod, a cooler full of beer, his family (wife and three daughters) and a few good friends.
